Steve holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree and has completed three Masters Degrees. He has also achieved the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® certification, a standard recognized internationally.

With three decades of experience in financial and investment markets having invested since the age of 16,  Steve performed pro bono financial planning while in the military helping veterans and their families to get what they want out of life.

Steve has a particular interest in providing tailored financial and investment advice to help clients build passive income streams to meet their retirement income objectives.

Joel Hanson

Joel holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management from the United States Air Force Academy and three Masters Degrees in Business, Logistics Management and Strategic Studies. He obtained his Series 65 license in December 2021 and is currently working toward his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® certification, a standard recognized internationally.

Jaden earned his Financial Advisor Series 65 Exam in 2022 and is currently a freshman in the Canfield Business Honors program at The University of Texas at Austin. He plans to declare a finance major with a wealth management minor during his sophomore year.

Candice Licht

Qualifications/Background

Candice graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a BBA Degree in Information Systems.  Candice worked for several years doing system support for a home health care agency in Austin, TX.

Candice also graduated from Grand Canyon University with a Masters in Education and had taught elementary school for 8 years prior to accepting her current position with Ankerstar Wealth.

Allison Ankerstar

Background

Allison is a Freshman at the University of Alabama majoring in Business with a minor in entrepreneurship.

Allison has excelled for several years at both high school and club volleyball. In club volleyball, Allison played in the Girls National Volleyball Championships in the Open Division finishing in the top 20 teams in the nation. In high school, she was a two-year Varsity Letter winner and earned Athletic All-District as well as Academic All-District & All-State accolades.  In club volleyball, Allison travelled extensively on several national teams and earned the right to play in two USAV Girls Junior National Championship tournaments. She was also twice selected for American Volleyball Coaches Association awards.

Allison’s hobbies include sports, movies, crafting, travel and spending time with family and friends.
